  • pasta - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • cherry tomatoes - 10 oz (300 g)
  • baby mozzarella - 7 oz (200 g)
  • capers - 3 tbsp.
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • salt
  • oregano - fresh
  • basil - fresh
  • black pepper - ground

How to make

The pasta is boiled in salted water. It's better if the pasta is bigger in size, not smaller.

While the pasta is boiling, the cherry tomatoes are washed and cut in half. Place them in a bowl.

Add the strained mozzarella balls and capers to them.

The fresh spices are cut into small pieces and also placed in the bowl. All products are mixed, seasoned with salt and freshly ground black pepper and two tablespoons of good quality olive oil. Stir again so that the flavors are well mixed.

The finished cooked and strained pasta is distributed into plates and garnished with flavored cherry tomatoes and baby mozzarella on top.

The cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and capers pasta (Pasta alla checca) is ready.
