Ingredients

  • eggs - 2
  • flour - 14 tbsp
  • sugar - 14 tbsp
  • oil - 14 tbsp
  • yoghurt - 14 tbsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp (or baking powder)
  • vanilla
  • jam - approximately 1 jar, preferably thick (peaches, apricots, apples)
  • optional
  • cinnamon - 1 pinch
  • for the glaze
  • sour cream - 2 1/2 cups (600 g)
  • eggs - 2 whites
  • sugar - 1/2 cup (or 2/3, depending on taste)

How to make

Mix all the products until you get a uniform mixture. Pour half of the mixture into a greased and floured tray and bake until golden in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven.

Once baked, smear the first cake layer with plenty of jam and pour the rest of the mixture on top of it (still raw). Bake once again until golden.

For the glaze: Beat the egg whites and sugar with a mixer and add the sour cream to them. Beat another 1-2 moments until you get a uniform mixture. Pour the resulting mixture over the already baked cake.

To decorate: You can decorate with coconut, pieces of fruit, (preferably the same type as the jam), or chocolate sprinkles.
