"Every New Year`s, we treat our guests to a tasty specialty. This year we`ve chosen this one - try it yourself."

Ingredients

  • pork chops - 6
  • mushrooms - 2 cups, boiled
  • processed cheese - 9 oz (250 g) smoked
  • mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • mustard - 1 tbsp
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • savory - 1 tsp crushed
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • white wine - 1 cup
  • mushroom broth - 1 cup
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)

How to make

Tenderize the steaks well, sprinkle them with plenty of spices and leave for 3 hours in a cool area. Sauté the mushrooms with 1/2 a packet of butter. Lightly fry steaks on both sides.

On the bottom of a glass cook pot, put a few mushrooms, 3 steaks, smoked cheese, then steaks, mushrooms, smoked cheese.

Brush the steaks with mayonnaise and mustard. Pour the wine and broth in and sauté for about 90 minutes in a moderate oven. Salt is hardly necessary.

You may thicken the sauce with a little flour if necessary and bake for another 15 minutes.
