How to make
In this recipe, you can activate the yeast in the yoghurt with the sugar and flour or stir it with the sifted flour and salt.
Beat the egg with the milk and oil.
Knead a smooth dough, leave it covered with a towel or foil to rise in a warm area.
Once risen, roll out 4 round sheets, smear them with oil, excluding the last one.
Cut into 8, from the center going nearly to the edges. Cut each triangle in the middle as well, fold backward and fold from the bottom going up through it.
Do this for all of the triangles. The result is a pita wreath of leaves.
Leave the pita in a warm area to rise until doubled in volume.
Smear with egg yolk, 1 tbsp milk and 1 tbsp oil. Bake in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven until ready.
