How to make
Chop the walnuts with a knife or put them in a food processor. Grind them briefly (they should not be very finely ground).
Cut the dates into small pieces.
Put the cream cheese in a bowl. Add the walnuts (save some for sprinkling on top) and the dates. Stir well.
Fill the vol-au-vent without overfilling and pressing them.
Arrange them on a plate and sprinkle some grinded walnuts on top.
