How to make

Fërges is a dish from the Albanian cuisine. The most famous is Fërges Tirane. This is a specialty with peppers from Tirana, which resembles mish-mash.

To prepare it, the peppers need to be cleaned from the stalks and seeds. Cut them into medium-sized pieces and fry them in hot oil.

Once they soften, take them out and place with finely chopped or grated tomatoes in the same pan.

Add a little salt and black pepper and then leave the tomatoes to cook until they remain in fat.

Add the cottage cheese to the tomato sauce and stir until a smooth mixture is obtained.

Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and add them to the other products.

Stir the Fërges and cook it for another five minutes.

Finally, when the dish is almost ready, put the fried peppers in it.

The Albanian Mish-Mash is an easy-to-prepare dish, which is perfect for a quick lunch.
