"Trust us when we say that the tastiest moussaka is made with eggplants!"

Ingredients

  • mince - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • onions - 2 heads
  • eggplants - 5 medium
  • black pepper
  • salt - to taste
  • tomatoes - 6
  • peppers - 5 red
  • parsley
  • oil
  • cheese - 7 oz (200 g)

How to make

Cut all the vegetables into rings (the eggplants lengthwise). In hot oil, sauté the onion, add minced meat with salt and black pepper.

In a greased pan, begin to stack the eggplants, then minced meat on top, top with slices of tomatoes and peppers, sprinkle with a little oil and spices and repeat until you run out of products.

The top has to have eggplants. Sprinkle the dish with plenty of parsley and put it to bake in a moderate oven. As soon as you remove it from the oven, sprinkle it with some sliced cheese and put it back for 5 minutes to get a golden tan.
