With summer in full swing, there are several cocktails you simply need to try. Those who would like to can prepare them themselves, while those who really want to laze around can order them in any bar.
Americano
The Americano cocktail was created in Italy in 1861. In the original recipe they mixed equal amounts of campari and vermouth, then later began adding club soda as well.
An Americano is made from 1 2/3 tbsp campari, 1 2/3 tbsp vermouth and 1 tbsp club soda. Once everything is mixed in a shaker, garnish the cocktail with a slice of orange.
Negroni
In 1919, they began making the Negroni cocktail as an imitation of the Americano. To the original campari and vermouth, they added gin as well. To make this cocktail you will need 2 tbsp gin, 2 tbsp vermouth and 1 1/3 tbsp campari.
Vesper - Jame's Bond's cocktail
This cocktail was drunk for the first time in the novel Casino Royale in 1953, authored by Ian Fleming. It is James Bond's favorite drink, which he orders in every film in the series.
The cocktail consists of 1/5 cup vodka and 2 tsp dry vermouth, served in a martini glass.
White Russian
The cocktail that became popular as a result of the movie The Big Lebowski is not a drink typical of Russia, despite its name. It is made from 2 tbsp vodka, 2 tbsp Kahlúa liqueur and 1/5 cup milk. The cocktail is garnished with nutmeg and ice.
Amaretto Sour
This cocktail was invented in the 50's in Italy. To make it at home all you need is amaretto and lemon juice. Pour in 1/5 cup of the liqueur and 2 tbsp of the lemon juice. Mix in a shaker and garnish with a slice of orange.
Long Island Iced Tea
Despite its name, this "tea" is one of the strongest alcoholic drinks. It is made from 1 1/3 tbsp triple sec, 1 1/3 tbsp tequila, 1 1/3 tbsp gin, 1 1/3 tbsp vodka and 1 1/3 tbsp white rum.
