How to make
Soak the raisins in lukewarm water, which has been flavored with two tablespoons of rum.
Cut the apples into small pieces. Drizzle them with lemon juice.
Melt the butter.
In a bowl sift the flour with a packet of baking powder, a teaspoon of cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Add the lightly beaten eggs with the sugar to the dry mixture.
Pour the melted butter. Add the sliced apples and the dried and rolled in flour raisins. Homogenize the mixture.
Line a 11x11″ (28x28 cm) baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the cake mixture. Smooth it out.
Bake the cake at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven with a fan on for about 25 minutes.
Pierce the apple cake with a wooden skewer to check if it is fully baked.
Cool the baked cake on a wire rack.
Sprinkle the most delicious apple and raisins cake with powdered sugar.
