How to make

Begin by preparing the pizza dough. In a small bowl pour the lukewarm water and add the sugar and dry yeast. Stir gently and let the mixture rest for about 5-7 minutes until the yeast activates and a light foam appears on the surface.

In a large mixing bowl place the flour and add the salt. Make a small well in the center of the flour. Pour in the activated yeast mixture and add the olive oil.

Mix the ingredients and knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth, soft, and elastic. Cover the bowl with a towel and allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.

Once the dough has risen, transfer it to a lightly floured work surface. Gently stretch or roll it into a round pizza base about 3-4 mm thick, leaving a slightly thicker border around the edges.

Place the dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base, leaving about 1 cm of space around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the sauce.

Cut the cooked chicken fillet into small cubes and distribute it evenly across the pizza.

Preheat the oven to 240°C (464°F). Place the pizza in the middle rack of the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes until the crust becomes golden and slightly crispy while the mozzarella melts and lightly browns.

Once the pizza is baked, remove it from the oven. Place the burrata cheese in the center of the hot pizza or tear it into pieces and distribute it across the surface. The warmth of the pizza will slightly melt the creamy interior of the burrata.

Drizzle the pizza with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano or fresh basil. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.

Burrata is one of the most prized Italian cheeses, known for its soft outer shell and rich creamy center that melts slightly over the warm pizza, creating an incredibly smooth and luxurious flavor.

Chicken Burrata Pizza Tips

Use high heat for the best crust

Pizza bakes best in a very hot oven. Preheating the oven to a high temperature helps achieve a crispy crust.

Add burrata after baking

Placing burrata on the pizza after baking keeps its creamy center soft and luxurious.

Use pre-cooked chicken

Grilled or roasted chicken works best and prevents the pizza from becoming watery.

Stretch the dough instead of rolling it

Stretching helps preserve air bubbles and creates a lighter pizza crust.

Drizzle olive oil before serving

A final drizzle of good olive oil enhances the flavor and adds a glossy finish.
