"Eat nachos with beef and avocado in good company or in front of the TV with a glass of wine and your favorite movie."

Ingredients

  • ground beef - 8 oz (220 g)
  • tomatoes - 1/2 cup from a tin
  • onion - 1 small onion
  • seasonings for nachos - 1 tbsp. (cumin, black pepper, coriander, ginger, garlic, hot pepper)
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • starch - 1 tsp.
  • salt - to taste
  • avocado - 1/2
  • lime - 1/2
  • yellow cheese - about 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • jalapenos - to taste (canned)
  • nachos - 1 package, 4.6 oz (130 g) corn tortilla chips
  • tomato sauce - Mexican (for serving)
  • sour cream - 2 tbsp. (for serving, optional)

How to make

Chop the onion and fry it in the oil until it has softened and lightly browned. Add the ground beef and mix until it is crumbly, then pour the tomatoes, salt, nacho chips seasonings + paprika and the starch dissolved in a little water. Cook until it has thickened.

Grate the cheese and put some of it in the minced meat sauce. Stir to melt from the heat.

Pour the corn tortilla chips into a suitable plate and spread the minced meat, the remaining grated cheese and jalapeño slices on top.

Peel half an avocado, sprinkle it generously with lime juice, season with salt and cut it into cubes, which you also distribute over the nachos.

Serve with spicy Mexican tomato sauce.
