How to cook
Soak the spelt grains for 2 hours in about 2.5 cups of water.
Heat 5 cups of water with vanilla if you want to flavor your drink.
Pour the strained spelt grains into a blender, pour hot water, a pinch of salt, olive oil and, if desired, sweeten with agave syrup.
Run the blender on medium speed for 1 minute to grind the grains, then strain the drink through a fine strainer and leave it to cool.
Pour it into a glass bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
Consume the spelt milk hot or cold by shaking the bottle before pouring it into a glass. It is recommended that the drink is left for at least 2 hours, because this improves its taste and quality and is more pleasant to drink.
