How to make
Blend 15-20 pieces of cherry tomatoes, 1 small onion, 2 cloves garlic, half or a whole hot pepper (without the seeds), a few sprigs of fresh parsley and basil leaves in a blender.
Add 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, juice of half a lime (or 1-2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon), a teaspoon of brown sugar, a pinch of cumin and as much salt and black pepper as you desire.
Pour the sauce into a small jug or cup, which is suitable for serving.
Garnish with basil leaves.
Season the baked pizza with the salsa sauce you prepared.
